The 11.7MW ground-mounted solar project has been developed by Tozzi Sud, an Italian designer, manufacturer, and installer of power plants.

ReneSola said that the modules installed for the project averaged 255W and are insured by third-party coverage PowerGuard, which supplements the firm’s warranties regarding product quality and performance.

ReneSola CEO Xianshou Li said the deal reflects the continued success of company’s OEM strategy.

"As these modules were manufactured in the EU by one of our OEM partners, we were able to receive additional feed-in-tariff payments on this sale," Li added.

ReneSola’s PV modules are found in global markets such as the US, Germany, Italy, Belgium, China, Greece, Spain, and Australia.
