Repsol’s made a couple of discoveries in Tarragona, said a Repsol spokesman.

Repsol owns the mineral rights to 32 blocks in Spain. 20 are exploration blocks, with a net area of 9,722 square kilometers (km2) and 12 are production blocks, totaling a net area of 929 km2.

Although the company acquired 1,023 km2 of 3D seismic data, there were no test wells drilled in the country during 2008.
