RGS Energy will undertake the designing, installation, monitoring and maintenance of four systems totaling 3.5MW.

The projects, which are expected to begin construction in March 2014, will be completed in June 2014.

To generate around 4.5 million kilowatt-hours of solar electricity annually, the fixed array ground mount solar systems will be designed.

RGS Energy general manager Tim Seamans said the company is proud to provide experience and expertise in building solar farms in Massachusetts through collaboration with BlueWave Capital.

"These projects are a great example of what is possible to accelerate the deployment of renewable energy both in Massachusetts and other states," Seamans added.
