Mr Buenting is responsible for the finance and financial control aspects of the new company. In 2000, he moved over to RWE Trading as head of risk control and reporting. Since the start of 2005, Mr Buenting has been in charge of group risk management within the group center.
Mr McCullough is responsible for all of the company’s on-and offshore wind activities. He worked for 15 years in a number of power plant operations positions for National Power in the UK, before spending three years in the US for American National Power.
The appointments are in addition to Dr Fritz Vahrenholt, who was appointed as the head of the company in November, 2007. The new renewables management company will begin operating on February 1, 2008.
