Saipem, which is 43% owned by Italian energy major Eni, said that its merger with its directly and indirectly-owned subsidiaries, is in accordance with the scheme approved by its board in May 2008.
Saipem provides engineering, procurement, project management and construction services with distinctive capabilities in the design and the execution of large scale offshore and onshore projects, and technological competences such as gas monetization and heavy oil exploitation.
