As per the deal, Sanmina-SCI will manufacture Satcon’s PowerGate Plus 50kW, 100kW, 250kW, and 500kW inverters along with Satcon’s Prism Platform solutions in Ottawa, for Ontario’s feed-in-tariff program.
Satcon Worldwide Sales, Services and Marketing executive vice president Pete DeGraff said the Canadian Solar market has developed steadily over the past three years and is poised for significant growth in the future.

Satcon inverters enable instant voltage stabilization, dynamic grid support, frequency control, and secure the continuous operation of the photovoltaic plant.
Satcon is a provider of utility-scale power conversion solutions for the renewable energy market.
