The 38MW will be installed across three separate solar power plants and in addition to the previously announced 23MW supplied for China’s ground-mounted rooftop projects of 2009. Each installation will utilize Satcon’s PowerGate Plus 500kW inverters.

The first 10MW will be located in the Youyu city site in Shanxi province and will supply power to Shanxi International Power Solar Power Generation. Another 10MW will be located in Pingluo county of Shizuishan city plant in Ningxia Hui Nationality municipality and will supply power to Ningxia State Power CSI New Energy Developer. An additional 20MW site will be constructed in the first half of the year and is expected to be energized in late summer.
