The wind farm will comprise five Enercon wind turbines with a combined generating capacity of 10MW. The wind farm is located on 348 acres of private farmland on Line 2, between Eliza Street and Sideroad 3 in the town of Arthur, Ontario, Canada.

The company warned that during construction of the wind farm, local residents may experience temporary traffic delays on roads as equipment and turbine parts are delivered to the site.

Thomas Schneider, president of Schneider Power, said: “We are very excited by this historic moment as it is the second wind farm to be constructed by our company in Ontario.

”We would like to thank the community of Arthur and the Township of Wellington North for their continued support of this project. Together we are one step closer to a sustainable energy future.”
