Planned work includes replacing the spillway chute, replacing the gate house on the dam crest and replacing the highway bridge over dam. Works related to the safety of the dam costs US$5.8M and is divided 85% USBR and 15% CWCD. The non-safety portion of the work is being paid for by Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) and the CWCD, with the latter paying $350,000 for control house and the former paying $670,000 for the highway work.
The total cost of the modifications to the dam is approximately US$7M. Work will begin in early July 2007 and conclude in spring 2009.
