The collaboration agreement formalizes a working arrangement that the two companies had since March 2014.

Both the companies will initially offer construction support services in areas like marine construction management, marine coordination and quality control.

SeaRoc will get support from HSEQ in the delivery of other contracting packages that include the supply of temporary power generation for German offshore projects.

The support from HSEQ will make sure that SeaRoc’s systems comply with German legislation.

SeaRoc operations director David Wotherspoon said: "We were looking for a partner with complementary skill sets and ambitions to work within the German market and abroad.

"We are delighted to have formed this partnership with the team at HSEQ Experts. Our expertise, combined with HSEQ Expert’s knowledge and experience of the German offshore wind market, applicable legislation and industry requirements, provides a very significant offering to the sector."

HSEQ Experts CEO Bodo Lehwald said: "We see great potential in the combined services of HSEQ Experts and SeaRoc and are happy to be able to offer this service to our existing and future clients in the German and European offshore wind sector."

HSEQ’s main focus is in the field of renewable energies, especially in offshore wind energy.
