PE pipes are used to transport gas as it reduces the cost and construction time, provides stronger connections, flexibility, easy installation, resistance to corrosion, chemicals, and high durability and life expectancy.
Under the contract, SGS will provide a day to day basis report to its client regarding the construction phase and the related activities, including quality of materials, services, structures, environmental and site conditions.
The company’s commissioning services and project management specialists will also ensure that the equipment and components are assembled as per the client’s requirements and that the geotechnical risks are effectively managed.
SGS’ quality assurance and quality control services team will help the project comply with the contractual specifications and meet strict standards of regulations.
The company will provide inspection services according to the approved Quality Assurance Plan and the Indian Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulation Board guidelines.
