The scope of the contract includes delivery of the turbines and a five-year service agreement to the plants, the Fatma wind farm in Mugla, the Zeliha wind farm in Kirklareli and the Kanije wind farm in Edirne-Tekirdag.

Of the total turbines, 25 gearless wind turbines will be destined to the 77MW Fatma wind farm, while the remaining 28 direct drive wind turbines totalling 88MW to the Zeliha wind farm and the Kanije wind farm.

The three projects, which are expected to be commissioned between late 2014 and summer 2015, will generate enough electricity to power up to 250,000 households and curb 290,000 tons of CO2 emission annually.
