The company also divested its leasehold interests in around 15,000 acres of land, which accumulates wind data, environmental assessment studies, and meteorological tower.

Sky Harvest will involve in the project in a development services capacity, and also retain its interests in the Keewatin and Matador sites in southwest Saskatchewan.

Sky Harvest Energy president and CEO William Iny said the divested project has the capacity to produce around150 megawatt wind power.

"The agreement further provides that if the purchaser is unable to execute a PPA respecting the project by December 19, 2019, it will return the assets to Sky Harvest for nominal consideration," Iny added.
