The acquisition accelerates SNTech’s entry into the fluid motor business, and it makes its current lines of motor products in Searcy, Arkansas.

SN Tech’s product line includes a range of indoor and outdoor motors designed for various applications, including, heating and cooling, ventilation, refrigeration, and aftermarket.

SNTech also plans to expand further in the Louisiana and Gulf Coast markets.

SAIL Capital managing partner Walter Schindler said electric motors consume over 60% of all electricity generated in the US.

"SNTech has developed an innovative product family of affordable smart electric motors that deliver superior performance with 33% to 50% better efficiency," Schindler said.

SNTech CEO Shannon Bard said the acquisition enables SNTech will be able to create efficiencies which will continue to drive down the cost of producing all of the motors in its product lines.
