The orders are expected to bring bookings this quarter to about $1.4m.

Sofame Technologies is expected to deploy two of the systems before the end of the year.

The Hybrid Percomtherm system will deliver about 95% gas-to-hot-water efficiency through the recovery of boiler flue gas heat from existing boilers and incorporation of a natural gas-fired burner offering.

Hybrid Percomtherm offers 180 degrees Fahrenheit leaving water temperature to satisfy demands for domestic hot water and sanitation water.

In addition to economically recovering heat from waste boiler exhaust, Sofame Technologies’s products reduce greenhouse gas emissions and fuel costs.

QED Connect CEO Tom Makmann said under the agreement, the company will participate in up to 50% of the profits generated by sales of Sofame Technologies’ products in the US through Sofame Energy.

QED Connect makes acquisitions, investments, and enters into strategic business partnerships.

Sofame Technologies custom engineers and manufactures high-efficiency direct-contact industrial hot water systems.
