The solar park will be built on nearly 800m of land on both sides of the railway tracks from Stockach to Radolfzell.

The solar park is scheduled for completion for the end of August 2011, and is expected to produce 4.9 million kWh of energy annually.

The company said since 2010, only ground-mounted photovoltaic plants on sites already sealed or conversion sites or within a 110m corridor along motorways or railway tracks are eligible for promotion under the German Renewable Energies Act.
