Solon provided engineering, procurement and construction services for the utility-owned solar station located on about 100 acres of land near Fresno.

Construction of the solar system began in May 2011, with the utilization of Solon’s Velocity MW cluster concept with fixed-tilt mounting, along with over 75,000 Solon solar panels.

The 15MW solar project is developed under PG&E’s 250MW Utility Owned Generation PV Program, a five-year plan for the construction of utility-owned solar PV stations.

Solon previously constructed PG&E’s Vaca-Dixon solar PV pilot project in late 2009.

US-based Solon is a provider of utility-scale and large commercial PV system solutions to the North American market.
