EAM Solar also committed to purchase a 3.1MW power plant that is located near to the 1.5MW facility.

The two energy plants deliver a combined annual capacity of about 7,070MWh of electricity, which is enough to power about 1,885 homes and save nearly 5,000 metric tons of CO2 emissions every year.

The facilities consists of dual-axis tracking systems and Solon PV modules.

The solar power plants have already been connected to the power grid and are eligible for subsidies under the Conto Energia II scheme.

In addition, Solon has signed a five-year service and maintenance contract.

In both projects the Trento-based Italian company Solar 3 secured and prepared the sites for construction while SOLON oversaw planning, installation and project management.
