Under 31-month contract, PVEP and its partners will build a oil treatment center, a gas transportation plant and two oil pipelines at Bir Seba mine in southern Algeria.

The work will also include construction of a electricity plant and a water separation plant.

The gas transportation plant will have capacity one million cubic meter per day and the oil treartment center will have a initial capacity of 20,000 barrels per day.

Sonatrach will receive 51% of oil output and income of its joint-venture and PVEP will contribute 40% of the joint-venture’s total capital.

The oil output is expected to reach 20,000 barrels per day in 2014 and increase to 36,000-40,000 barrels in 2016, reports Vietnam News.
