The company said it is exploring for copper/silver mineralization in the center of the Kalahari Copper Belt.

After an initial review of the high-resolution magnetic data, target horizon extensions were identified from a technical analysis of the local geology that matches the geological model of the Kalahari Copper Belt.

The company then decided to fly additional line kilometers over its three license blocks.

Sono Resources selected the additional high-resolution lines to identify superior drill targets in its planned drill program.

The Sono licenses encompass three blocks located in the center of the Kalahari Copper Belt and are widely characterized as the southwesterly extension of the Zambian/DRC Copper Belt extending through Botswana and into Namibia.
