Manufacturers and sellers of products with Li-ion batteries will have to get certification from a South Korean organization, the report said.
Japan’s manufacturers have control about 60% of the global Li-ion battery market. Li-ion batteries are used in consumer electronics such as laptops, digital cameras and mobile phones.
