The diamond drilling program was designed to validate the earlier results and to replicate a number of historical diamond drill holes located on the main zone.

Standard Graphite president and CEO Chris Bogart said the drilling program will allow the company to confirm and expand the historical resource.

"Our recent geologic work and interpretations have shown that the potential is excellent both in the direct extension of the current Mousseau body and elsewhere on the property," Bogart added.

The company has awarded contracts to MRB & Associates and P&E Mining Consultants to produce NI 43-101 compliant resource estimate based on the historical work.

MBR will supervise the planning, execution, logging, and sampling of the core whereas P&E will model the graphite zones and calculate the resource estimates based on the data validated by MRB during the drilling phase.

Canada based Standard Graphite is focused exclusively on the exploration and development flake graphite properties.
