For the first quarter of 2008, earnings per share were NOK5.01, compared to NOK3.05 in the same quarter of 2007. Net operating income in the first quarter of 2008 was NOK51.4 billion, compared to NOK34.5 billion in the same period of 2007.
Total oil and gas liftings in the first quarter of 2008 were 1,836 million barrels of oil equivalent (mboe) per day, compared to 1,890mboe per day in the same quarter of 2007. There was an underlift in the first quarter of 2008 of 40mboe per day, compared to an overlift of 79mboe per day in the same quarter of 2007.
