The company has produced 528t of wet graphite compared to 360t produced in February. Around 215t was sold March compared to 150t in February.

According to StratMin, production volumes improved due to increased efficiency at the plant, and increase in recovery levels. This has also helped improve feed rates and flow management through the flotation cells.

During the month, the company conducted limited test run at its new mills, and installed a new screen.

StratMin MD Manoli Yannaghas said: "The product quality has improved markedly over the quarter, much to the satisfaction of our customers. Further improvements to the process flowsheet are underway to increase grade and I expect these to have a positive effect during the next quarter."
