The three oil wells are situated near the Faroe Islands and Ireland. The Korean firm has said in a statement that it plans to acquire a 10% stake in a well located offshore Faroe Islands. It is also planning buy a 25% stake each in the other wells off Ireland, according to Reuters.
Drilling on these three wells is expected to begin in 2008.
