The enterprise license agreement will see Subnet’s Powersystem Center solution be deployed corporate-wide within the company. Powersystem Center provides utilities secure, centralized enterprise access to the data contained in many intelligent grid monitoring devices including meters, relays, RTUs and others, the company said.

The company added that the agreement also provides software licensing to enable the utility to expand their deployment of other products that make up Subnet’s Unified Grid Intelligence suite: Substation Server, Substation Explorer and Powersystem Server.

The development participation agreement formalizes how Subnet and the utility will collaborate to expand the features of current solutions. This partnership will ensure Subnet products are developed to meet the needs of industry while accelerating time to market. By letting Subnet handle solution development, utilities can focus on their core business and not software development, the company claimed.

This latest agreement represents a significant investment in Subnet technology and will help ensure the utility can deploy solutions to meet current requirements as well as future needs. It is a validation of the multi-vendor and multi-function integration capabilities provided by Subnet’s Unified Grid Intelligence solutions.
