Under the contract, signed with Baltic Gas, SEA will be responsible for over 110km of subsea pipelines, HDD shore crossing, pre and post-lay trenching, risers and platform tie-ins, as well as system engineering including reservoir to gas plant flow assurance.
Following completion of the FEED studies, work under the contract will be implemented from SEA’s Perth office.
SEA director Adam Czajko said: "Our focus this year is to lock-in the value generated during FEED by completing the design and going out to the market with tender packages for the main scopes.
"We expect significant interest from contractors and suppliers given the current state of the market.
"With tendered costs, the project should be in a strong position for Final Investment Decision during second half of 2016."
Being undertaken by a joint venture between CalEnergy Resources Poland and Lotos Petrobaltic, the project involves development of the B4 and B6 gas condensate fields in the Polish sector of the Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ) of the Southern Baltic Sea.
The CalEnergy-operated project is estimated to have approximately 149 Bcf of natural gas.
