The four FPSOs purchased and built by Estaleiro Enseada do Paraguaçu, will operate in Brazils’ central Pre Salt Cluster areas South of Rio de Janeiro state and North of São Paulo State.
Each FPSO will have three diesel-engine hydraulic driven firewater pump packages, containing centrifugal pumps, diesel engine, hydraulic power unit, fire and gas detection system and related auxiliaries.
The pumps will help the company to provide seawater for firefighting.
In case of fire emergencies, the autonomous packages can operate continuously for 18 hours independently from the platform.
Suzler Pump’s manufacturing unit in Brazil will be responsible for the design, product development and manufacturing of the packages.
