SunPower will also provide operations and maintenance services under the agreement with Naturener. At the 38-hectare site, the company will install its SunPower T0 Tracker technology. This will be the fifth solar power plant that SunPower has designed and constructed for Naturener.
Rafael Sanchez-Castillo, CEO of Naturener, said: “We are pleased to work with SunPower again and continue our development of renewable energy in the Spanish market.
“SunPower’s turnkey services will ensure that the plant is operational by the end of the year, and their technology will maximize production of clean, renewable solar power for many years to come.”
Previously for Naturener in Spain, SunPower designed and constructed solar power plants totaling 29MW, located in the Castilla-La Mancha and Extremadura regions.
