FEC serves over 25,000 customers in Fairfield, Kershaw, Richland, Chester, and York counties.

The new ADMS features Survalent’s open-architecture system based on Windows Server.

The system features several Survalent’s open system applications including WorldView, SCADA Explorer, Command Sequencing, Event Data Recording, IED Wizard and Control Panel.

It also includes SCADA Add-In, remote alarm annunciation, capacitor bank control, Virtual RTU, MultiSpeak, dynamic voltage reduction, WebSurv, and SurvCentral for mobile devices.

Survalent Technology VP of sales for the Eastern US Steve Strauss said the company has been committed to electric firms for 50 years, supplying master station control systems and RTUs.

"Fairfield’s new system will provide advanced tools to allow easier creation of database points & screen graphics as well as integration with other software systems and secure viewing of real time information on mobile devices," Strauss added.
