The turnkey project comprises 24 units of Suzlon S97- 2.1MW wind turbine generators with the time tested doubly fed induction generator (DFIG) technology that is designed to optimally harness the available wind resources.
This facility forms a part of Suzlon’s Jaisalmer wind park, which is said to be the largest wind park in the country with a cumulative capacity of over 1300MW.

Suzlon, which was responsible for the development, construction and commissioning of the project, will provide operations and maintenance services of the project for 12 years.

In September this year, Suzlon commenced operations at the 100.8MW wind power plant in Rajasthan for wind power developer CLP India.
