The turbines will be installed at the A$260m ($266m) Mt Mercer wind farm project, located 30km south of Ballarat in Victoria, Australia.

REpower will also handle the installation of the turbines, beginning September 2013 and expected to be commissioned by January 2015.

Commenting on the contract REpower Australia CEO Chris Judd remarked that the company was celebrating its 10th year in
Australia and was committed to the Australian Wind Industry to achieve the target of 7GW new wind power generating capacity in the country by 2020.
