With a combined installed capacity of 39.9MW, Bharat Electronics will secure five of the turbines for its 10.5MW wind farm while GSFC will employ the remaining 14 at its 29.4MW facility.
Both the projects are expected to be operation by the end of March 2014.
Suzlon Energy CEO Rohit Modi highlighted the company’s commitment to contribute towards the development of the low carbon economy in India.

According to the company the S95 wind turbines feature larger rotor diameters, increased hub heights and technology enhancements like the doubly fed induction generator technology that will harness power efficiently from lower wind speed sites.
