The Swedish National Energy Agency, working with the Swedish Board of Agriculture and the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), will present their proposals for the strategy to the government on May 12, 2010.
Swedish energy ministry has also declared a new regulation which needs all government departments together with the judiciary to execute at least two of a set of 25 energy-saving measures by September 1, 2009. The energy saving measures includes purchasing energy-efficient equipment, renting energy-efficient premises, and carrying out energy surveys.
