The new plant in Nayaka, Gujarat, has an installed capacity of 12.3 MWp and will generate 19.4 GWh of energy annually.
This solar power plant consists of 96,885 panels, which have been installed over a 36.4 hectare site.
T-Solar has another 5MWp photo-voltaic power plant in Osiyan of Rajasthan that has been operational since October 2011, providing the electricity grid with 8.5 GWh a year.
The company has invested about €34m in these two photo-voltaic projects and they generate enough energy to supply over 49,000 people.
