The Cabot property, which was acquired in March 2012, is known to host Cu-sulfide prospect and the Marble Cove Au prospect. The property comprises 102 claims situated across an area of 25.5km² in northwestern Newfoundland.

In the 2012 exploration season, the company began to systematically prospect, locate, map and sample graphite occurrences on the property.

Tawsho Mining CEO and president Joseph Feldman commented that the work on the graphite showings at Cabot is preliminary.

"The grades, widths and regional extent of the graphite mineralization are encouraging and certainly warrant the drilling of one or two holes to obtain a true test of its grade and quality across their total width.

"We now also have a new graphite discovery on the Cabot property, and both Cu-sulfide and Au-quartz vein showings that have been historically drilled," Feldman added.

Exploration on each of these prospects has advanced past the discovery stage and Tawsho plans needs to extend its activities to develop the resource base on each prospect, Feldman noted.
