The total value of the two contracts is worth €50m.
Under the first contract, Technip will be responsible for modernizing and upgrading the Pavlodar refinery by the second semester of 2013.
The company was contracted by Pavlodar Oil Chemistry Refinery for the project work.
Petrokazakhstan Oil Product selected Technip for the second contract and the scope of work includes restoring the Shymkent refinery by the end of 2013.
The nature of the work will also include renewing process units, utilities, and offsite facilities to increase the production capacity of the refineries.
Technip’s operating center in Italy will carry out the project work.
