Perry has led two management buyouts of an independent oilfield services company, headed up an Initial Public Offering (IPO) and subsequently achieved a successful sale with a market capitalization of $600 million. He joined the oil industry in 1984 as a field engineer after gaining an engineering degree at Exeter University.

With more than 17 years industry experience working at major oilfield technology companies, Carter’s most recent position was CEO of Sensornet. His tenure saw the company achieve a number of world first’s, including the installation of a distributed fiber optic monitoring system in a Middle East Maximum Reservoir Contact (MRC) well in 2008.
