Mr Moreau will report to Tesoro’s executive vice president and COO, Bill Finnerty.
Mr Moreau has a background in marketing and business development. Prior to joining Tesoro, he held the position of chief commercial officer for the Americas at international trading firm Trafigura.
In addition, he held marketing and business development positions with Texaco Canada, Alimentation Couche Tard and Texaco International in west Africa, Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands. From 2001 to 2003 Mr Moreau was vice president manufacturing & marketing for the Chevron Texaco Latin America Products Company.
Bill Finnerty, COO of Tesoro, said: Claude has made significant contributions to our marketing department since he joined Tesoro in August.
