Mr Williams, who joined the company in May 2006, held prior engineering positions with ExxonMobil and XTO Energy, and has played a significant role in the company’s success.
In his new position, Mr Williams will oversee the company’s reserve bookings and acquisitions and divestitures.
Mr Williams holds a BS in petroleum engineering from Texas Tech University and a MBA from Texas Christian University. He is an active member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers and the Independent Producer’s Association of America.
