The solar PV facility, which covers a total area of 522 hectares, will use one and a half million panels of thin film technology from First Solar.

The facility is expected to start generating electricity in the third quarter of this year.

EDF Energies Nouvelles will oversee the development, construction, operation and maintenance of the project.

The Marguerite Fund secured financing for the construction of its 36MW under a Term Loan Facility arranged by BNP Paribas and Credit Agricole Corporate and Investment Bank.
