This is the first of a three well drilling program to test the cretaceous buda formation in the Marcelina creek area to acquire a 75% interest in the block.
The company said that 14 Buda wells and 9 Eagle Ford wells can be drilled in the acreage.
The Buda wells have estimated reserves between 80,000 and 120,000 recoverable barrels.
