As part of the deal, the company will supply equipment such as turbines, generators and condensers for the plant, which will be built by Zorlu Enerji, a member of the Zorlu Energy Group, in Manisa Province of western Turkey.

Toshiba intends to start the installation of equipment in October 2014, while the plant is scheduled to come online in 2015.

The company said that it will install total 40MW of two systems, of which a 30MW flash steam generation system will pull hot water under high pressure into a separator to produce steam, while a 10MW binary cycle power facility will use lower temperature fluid to vaporize a liquid with a lower boiling point.
