Concluded for a period of 18 years from the date of commencement of production from the Askaf mine, this agreement defines the conditions of transportation, IMG 7722storage, loading and pricing terms of service.
Situating the scope of this commercial arrangement, the Managing Director of SNIM Mohamed Abdallahi Ould Ouda said "This is the first agreement of its kind between SNIM and a foreign investor.
This historic agreement expresses the availability of SNIM to further support the development of the mining sector by encouraging foreign operators to invest in the country through their service expertise and infrastructure to transport their production. "
