The installations will utilize new dispenser and POS systems that will make purchasing DEF quicker, more efficient and customer friendly.
Currently, TA and Petro branded locations offer 2.5 gallon containers of DEF at all 228 locations, available at the fuel desk, travel store or truck maintenance counters and all of the company’s RoadSquad emergency roadside vehicles carry a supply of DEF.
These become the third and fourth at island DEF fueling locations launched within the last 30 days.
TravelCenters expects to install about fifty on-island DEF dispensers at locations across the country in 2011.
