SafeShield, which is sold packaged in an easy-to-use, 16-ounce non-aerosol spray bottle, was developed by TyraTech using proprietary TyraTech Naturals that are exempt from the EPA regulations for registration of pesticides. TyraTech signed a strategic partnership with Terminix in November 2008 to develop market and co-brand SafeShield and other TyraTech Naturals products. This collaborative commercialization relationship is intended to combine and leverage Terminix’s brand and position as a seasoned market leader in pest control with TyraTech’s technology capabilities.
