The Polish LPG business of BP distributed over 150 million gallons of LPG in 2012.
UGI CEO John Walsh said the transaction will combine two LPG businesses in Poland, which is one of the largest LPG markets in Europe.
"The acquisition represents a further step in our international growth strategy and reaffirms our commitment to add value for our shareholders through profitable growth in Europe. We expect the transaction to be modestly accretive to EPS in fiscal 2014," Walsh added.
The transaction, which was initially announced in November 2012, received regulatory approval in August 2013.
UGI distributes and markets energy products and services. The company along with its subsidiaries, is the sole general partner and owns 26% of AmeriGas Partners, the retail propane distributor.
