The new power system, the GenSet Eliminator, provides energy storage capabilities to generators and renewable energy sources.

The energy storage system will enhance optimum efficiencies through the continuous charging and discharging of the company’s lithium ion batteries incorporated into the system.

The system is scalable from 10 to 50kWh of battery storage and will reduce fuel consumption while enabling the primary generator or power source to be operated at 85% to 95% of its rated load capacity.

Ultralife president and CEO Michael Popielec said the GenSet Eliminator is the first of a series of exciting new products that the company plan to introduce utilizing its lithium ion battery and integration expertise.

"The critical components of this system are internally designed and manufactured and provide an ideal platform to broaden our portfolio and further penetrate defense and commercial markets," Popielec said.
