The US nuclear regulatory commission (NRC), has given the license, by completing its review of the Lost Creek project’s technical report.

The license completes the final step of NRC’s review on the project, and is one of the three major authorizations required for construction and operation of the Lost Creek in-situ uranium recovery facility.

Ur-Energy president Wayne Heili said that the NRC’s authorization confirms that the project will be completed in a manner that is protective of the environment and the public.
