Adesta, based in Omaha, Nebraska,US, has announced that it has been awarded a contract by the US Army Corps of Engineers and the Bureau of Reclamation valued at US$4M to upgrade security systems at Grand Coulee dam. The dam is the largest hydroelectric facility in North America and the largest concrete structure in the US. Under the contract, Adesta will install and upgrade integrated systems including video surveillance, intrusion detection, access control and communication sub-systems.
